You can use lnk.ink completely anonymously. No signup is required, and no personal details are collected unless you explicitly provide them (e.g., Telegram ID for bot integration).

We only store what is needed: original URL, short code, expiration settings, optional password, and control mode. If a secret code is generated, it's stored securely and used for link management only.

We track anonymized metrics like click count, country, device, browser, and referrer to provide you with stats. These are never tied to identities. You can disable tracking by selecting 'No Tracking' when creating the link.

We collect anonymous usage metrics to understand traffic trends and improve performance. This includes general stats like device type and country, but no personal identifiers are collected or shared.

We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. We use Google AdSense on redirect pages to support the service, but do not embed social widgets or trackers beyond what is necessary.

We do not use tracking cookies. Temporary cookies may be used for improving site functionality (like remembering your language), but they contain no personal or persistent identifiers.

You can set links to expire by time or click count. Links may be deleted manually or become inaccessible after expiration. Links with no activity may also be cleaned up automatically if not configured to be permanent.

To generate a preview (title, image, favicon), we may fetch metadata from the original website. This is similar to how social platforms generate previews and may be logged on their servers.

We detect and filter known bots, apply rate limiting, and cache data in RAM temporarily to prevent abuse. This includes short-lived spam protection on redirects and stats logging.
